I like the format of postcards for paintings, as their small format is a restriction challenging your creativity. An additional advantage of the format is that you can then use the paintings as actual postcards and greeting cards for your friends’ birthdays. :)
Some of the postcards have simple patterns, where I often used the combination of blue and gold colors.
A few post cards have greetings written on them, or depict objects.
I also sometimes use stamps, and once I made a stamp of a croissant that I can now use to make postcards. :D
